LAPIDUS INTERNATIONAL SEEKS NEW TREASURER

 Lapidus International is seeking a voluntary candidate to help guide the organisation and support it with financial matters. We are seeking a confident individual who is passionate about promoting the values of Lapidus and supporting the company onward into the future. 

Lapidus International is an expressive arts company that believes in the power of words, both spoken and written, to provide benefits to wellbeing and professional development. The company supports its members internationally by giving them opportunities to connect, develop and share in the Lapidus community.

For the voluntary role of Treasurer, we are hoping to find a strong, passionate individual who can support the company by:

• - Maintaining an overview of the organisation's financial position and aims
• - Communicating with and paying suppliers
• - Liaising with other Lapidus board members and contractors, particularly the Lapidus coordinator
• - Keeping records of incoming and outgoing payments and submitting accounts to accountant
• - Maintaining overall administration of the Lapidus accounts with support from Lapidus staff members

Lapidus has no fixed office. The majority of this role will be delivered online, via email and video conferencing. Current staff and board members are based around the UK, but we will accept international applications.

Hours: Minimum required input - 2 hours a week.

This is a voluntary role. There is also the possibility to share this role with another person.
