Experience
Writing has been an essential part of my life since childhood, when I kept my first diaries and wrote poems and endless (often unfinished) stories. For the last more than 20 years, I have used journaling and creative writing as a tool for personal growth, creative expression and to gain clarity and perspective in my personal and professional life. I have been both a participant and facilitator in writing for wellbeing groups in my community since 2007. During that time, I have worked with adults, teenagers and children. Since 2020, I have been a trained mentor, supporting individuals and couples in their journey towards becoming parents. My approach to mentoring is multi-faceted, integrating visualisation, storytelling, work with archetypes and mindfulness practices. In 2022, I completed my certification process to become a Journal to the Self instructor. I love the diversity, depth and empowerment that the JTTS techniques allow in one’s personal writing process. I now offer courses, workshops and 1:1 sessions in writing as a tool for holistic wellness.

Skills & Interests:
I am a warm and compassionate mentor who loves to go deep but also to be light and playful. I am curious about different paths into creativity and self-discovery and enjoy celebrating each individual’s unique expression and journey. Co-creation and working in community is also an important element in my work in the world. I love to witness the creative and transformative process that unfolds when we put pen to paper and allow what is moving within to express itself on the page. I am also interested in how personal change relates to societal/cultural change and the part that creativity and the arts play in this evolution. I have had a personal spiritual practice for more than 20 years and it is the experience of oneness and deep connection that I return to for inspiration and fulfilment.
