Summer 2018

Small group workshops facilitated by Alison Clayburn (M.A. Creative Writing for Personal Development) at Canada Water Library (next to Canada Water bus/train/tube station) Rotherhithe London SE16.

Saturdays 1.30pm - 4.30pm

These workshops use creative writing to explore both personal and collective responses to a common theme, and then produce creative nonfiction, poetry or story.

APERTURES

A house is a good analogy for the self. It has ways of entering and leaving, seeing out and letting in our surroundings. It is also, hopefully, a place of protection. We will examine its openings, or apertures, in turn, to find out what memories they conjure and what they can tell us about our current experience.
