Lapidus Membership Price Changes 2026

From the 1st October 2026, we are increasing the price of our memberships. You can review the changes in the table below.

As you may know, we’ve worked hard to keep our costs as low as possible over the last two years, but like many organisations, we’ve been impacted by rising costs. In order to make sure that we’re providing the same great benefits and community, as well as continuing to develop exciting new events and networking based on your feedback we are adjusting our membership pricing.

You can review your current membership here or navigate to the ‘My Account’ section on the top right-hand corner of the website.

If you have any questions, please contact us on: membership@lapidus.org.uk

FAQs

Why are prices increasing?
Like many organisations, we’ve been impacted by increasing costs to deliver the services we offer.

How do I know what membership I’m on and when it renews?
You can review your current membership here or navigate to the ‘My Account’ section on the top right-hand corner of the website.

When do the changes come into effect?
The price changes will come into effect on the 1st October 2026.

Will my current membership be impacted?
If you currently have a membership or purchase a membership before the 1st of October 2026, your cost will not be impacted until you next renew.

For example, if you purchased an annual standard membership on the 1st January 2026, the price you pay will not be impacted until your renewal date on the 1st January 2027.

If you pay monthly, your membership rate will automatically increase to the new rate after 1st October.

For now, you can purchase an annual membership at our current rate, but if you purchase an annual standard membership on or after the 1st October 2026, you will pay the new price.

What does the cost of my membership cover?
Lapidus is a not for profit organisation and all the money we make, from memberships, event tickets and fundraising, goes towards our events, resources, and the day to day operations that keep our community and projects running smoothly.

This year, we became a Community Interest Company (CIC), which means that your membership will also help us to provide writing for wellbeing activities for people who need them, and for whom the impacts can be life changing. You can find out more about CICs here.

As part of our community, you have access to a wide range of membership benefits, from free access to our monthly events, exclusive networking opportunities, discounted training and insurance, free advertising, and a supportive global community of likeminded people. You can explore the full range of benefits here.

What does this mean for our concessionary members?

We strongly believe in offering a concessionary plan for our members, and over the last few years we’ve done everything to keep the cost of a membership as low as possible. Over the last few years, to keep prices low, we’ve been subsiding the cost of our concessionary memberships to keep the price the same.

The new price will enable us to cover the costs of membership and continue to offer the concessionary plan.

If you are ready to start, renew or change your membership before the 1st October, the current rates will apply.
