About the Lapidus Magazine
From the writing for wellbeing community for the writing for wellbeing community.
Welcome to Lapidus Magazine, an online publication that delves into the powerful connection between writing, arts, and personal growth. Our biannual magazine is created by and for the Lapidus community, a space to explore creative ideas, challenges and successes in the world of writing for wellbeing., both around the UK and worldwide.
We invite submissions from a diverse range of contributors – writers, poets, therapists, educators, and anyone interested in the therapeutic potential of writing. Whether you have a personal essay to share, an insightful article, example of best practice, or would like to contribute to a new Letters & Readers Shorts page, we would love to hear from you.
Although we don’t publish stand-alone creative writing, we focus on a different form or theme in each issue. We invite you to submit your examples in the context of your practice.
We spotlight the voices of practitioners and creatives, alongside our sister publication, LIRIC, which is a peer-reviewed academic journal. Our focus is to support people and organisations immersed in the realm of writing for wellbeing, as well as those eager to learn from and contribute to this evolving field. Join us in exploring the intersection of writing, art, and wellness.
Unsolicited submissions are open to all members.
