Pen Power - A day of writing for personal growth and wellbeing

...at Hardwick Hall Hotel, Sedgefield, Co. Durham, November 17th 2018, 09:45 – 16:30

20% discount to LAPIDUS members!

Pen Power uses the tools of reading and writing to encourage you to become more expressive, self-aware, resilient and ultimately empowered to cope better with life’s challenges. We will use a poem or word as a prompt to stimulate your own thoughts and help you to write a creative response. We will encourage you to express your thoughts on the page in response to a subject, theme, image or object. We will provide you with breathing space to reflect. There will be no pressure to share your writing but if you choose to do so, we will receive it in a supportive, non-critical way. No prior writing experience is necessary. The focus of the session will be on expression of ideas rather than writing craft. For business organisations, this day event could support your wellness initiatives and is suitable for any staff who would like to attend.

The price of £95 (or £85 Early Bird rate*) includes:
  • - 4 guided workshops of 1 hour each with plenty of breathing time in between
