How to Survive and Embrace Working in Schools

A day training session for therapists, counsellors and those providing mental health support for children and young people in schools and educational settings.

Delivered by Moving Pieces, a physical theatre company using movement, performance and creativity to show how practitioners can use body-based skills to support good health and wellbeing. Key areas of focus will include :

  • How to introduce therapeutic work to teachers
  • Establishing ground
  • Embracing Difference
  • Managing and making sense of projections
  • Consultation with Parents and Teachers
  • Creating Community
