Experience
Secondary English teacher, re-trained as a Counsellor. As Creative Connections Cheshire since 2006, counselling and running workshops and retreats on writing, mid-life and Myers-Briggs. Running creative sessions for various therapeutic groups e.g. for cancer patients at a Maggie’s Centre, Birth Trauma Recovery group; a monthly Write for Growth workshop; journalling group Way With Words; leading events for Retreat House, Chester; CPD Training Workshops in Therapeutic Writing for Health Professionals. Author of five books including Making the Most of Mid-life, Writing our Faith and a poetry collection Chester City Walls. Poetry has appeared in online publications and been anthologised. Commended in Wirral Festival of Firsts & Poetry Space Competitions 2018.

MA Creative Writing Manchester Metropolitan University; Post-Grad Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling Leicester University; PGCE Nottingham University; BA English Language and Literature, Oxon. Also a qualified Myers-Briggs Practitioner.
