Saturday 28 November - 11:00am to 2:30pm
Join us this November for our online AGM - free for all Lapidus members to attend. It's another chance to catch up and connect with your fellow members, as well as take part in a workshop run by Jeannie Wright, one of Lapidus's directors.
“Writing comprises one of the most widely used and effective forms of reflection that exists. The process of committing thoughts and feelings to words operates on a number of levels. As ideas, phrases, feeling or images that may have been rattling around in and out of awareness become fixed on the page, they become externalised and open to scrutiny: ’Is that what I really mean?’. ‘Is that the totality of what I feel, or just a part of it?’ Putting the words or feelings ‘out there’, on the page, allows the rational, sense-making part of the writer to be more involved.”
Foreword by John McLeod, Professor of Counselling, University of Abertay, in Jeannie Wright’s 2nd edn (2018). Reflective Writing in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Sage Publications.
What to expect in the workshop:
And, of course, at the AGM itself, we will be inviting members to step up as board members. Think you would like to join the board? Check out our past blog posts on the available positions here:
