We are delighted to announce this event organised by London Lapidus which will make a great pre-Christmas day out, have a delicious vegetarian lunch, a Lapidus workshop, and even a bit of time to do some shopping. The AGM is on the 9th December 2017.

The venue is the newly-refurbished Poetry Cafe at 22 Betterton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9BX and the schedule is as follows:

11:00-11.30: Welcome and coffee
11.30-12.30: AGM
12.30-1.30: lunch, networking and regional coordinators’ meeting
1.30-3.00: Workshop by a member of London Lapidus:

Marie-Therese  is a writer, blogger and daily diarist. She runs 'Time-catchers' journaling clubs for children where they discover the power of words and self-expression as they record their days on paper. In her workshops for adults she encourages them to find the wonder in their lives through creative journaling. She is an active member of Lapidus, the writing for wellbeing organisation and of NAWE (the National Association of Writers in Education). She received her first diary when she was ten and has been keeping one ever since.

Note from Mary Burns:
As London Lapidus co ordinator, I am really looking forward to the event. Such a variety.... an opportunity to meet other members, network and chat over coffee / lunch, hear from the Lapidus Board about what's been happening during the past year and plans for the future and finally  what promises to be an inspirational  work shop from Marie Therese. This is truly excellent value for money, so do come along and make this an enjoyable and stimulating day. You will even  have  time for a bit of shopping afterwards!

The cost of this event is being heavily subsidised by Lapidus and we are asking for a small £5 contribution from members. Tickets must  be booked in advance, as we need definite numbers for catering purposes. Please see below for link to Eventbrite for tickets and please bring a record of your booking along for lunch on the day.

It would be very helpful , for purposes of seating etc on the day,  if you could email Mary Burns at lThis email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  to confirm you are attending.

There are also a limited number of bursaries to assist with the cost of travel for those who require it and would like to attend. Please email Richard at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you would like to know more.
