How would you handle a workshop participant who is feeling suicidal? Do you know the law concerning safeguarding? How do you get support for your workshops and your own wellbeing?
Dr. Jeannie Wright and Barbara Bloomfield, both experienced counsellors, supervisors and writers for wellbeing, will take you through what you need to know to create inspiring and above all safe events.

This short session will lead onto a longer workshop, if participants are interested, where we can look more deeply into these issues in an interesting and experiential way.

Our Workshop Facilitators:
Jeannie Wright has taught and researched in several universities and practised writing for wellbeing in community agencies internationally. She has been a member of Lapidus since the 1990s.
Barbara Bloomfield has been a counsellor and supervisor for 26 years and is an author of several books and radio plays. She taught creative writing to university level and has facilitated many groups and trainings.
