This course provides a comprehensive introduction to Writing for Wellbeing and its therapeutic benefits. It is intended for those new to Writing for Wellbeing or those who’ve started to use it and would like to develop its use for themselves, as a tool in their professional life, or in order to facilitate their own courses.
It covers how to set up and run activities, a session, or a course, how to safeguard yourself as a practitioner and how both to prevent and deal with challenges as they arise. It also covers a wide range of writing for wellbeing activities including:
We shall also look at using writing for wellbeing in specific settings such as mental health and hospices.
This workshop is experiential and attendees should be willing to participate in a variety of writing for wellbeing activities.
