Join me for an informal live Q&A introducing my four-week Compassion Journalling course.
Compassion Journalling uses two-pen dialogue, visual mapping, poetry, and mindfulness to help participants develop a genuine relationship with their own compassionate voice – not as a performance of self-care, but as a felt, creative resource. Drawing from Compassion Focused Therapy and self-compassion research, it offers tools for responding to yourself with curiosity, care, and honesty.
The course itself will be held on Zoom. A link will be sent out to participants the date before the course starts.
Substack account holders can join the Q&A directly through this link: https://open.substack.com/live-stream/192556?utm_source=live-stream-scheduled-upsell
If you don’t have a free Substack account yet, it takes less than a minute to set up: https://substack.com/
Testimonials
“I really would recommend trying it if you have any interest in building or repairing your inner dialogue with yourself. Insightful and fun.” — Hamish
“This course provided a gentle, safe space to explore the importance of being compassionate to ourselves through the power of writing. Kate is an excellent facilitator and I felt attended to and held throughout the course. I came away feeling lighter and much more aware of the need for compassion to be present in my life – for me. I also loved writing the joint pantoum with our small and lovely group.” — Alexandra Harrington
“Having worked closely with Kate on Lapidus International’s board, I can attest that she is the real deal.” — Rick Wilson, Lapidus Treasurer, 2023–2025

What is therapeutic writing?
No creative writing experience necessary. It is not about grammar, spelling or the perfect sentence.
It is about expressing the self (whoever the self is at that moment) through creative writing in an encouraging and supportive environment.
We may share our writing. And, there is no obligation to share. Everything is confidential.
I offer creative writing prompts and a poem to facilitate:
– Reflection
– Grounding in the moment
– Writing freely.
